I hear so many people say, “I just wish my business were doing better” so decided in the next few posts, I am going to concentrate on “List Building”. Not just a huge list of subscribers, but also a list that is responsive.
I have thought long and hard about how to approach this, so I decided that I would start at “A” thus encompassing everyone especially those new to Online Marketing.
So Let’s begin with the question many “Newbie’s” ask.
“Exactly what is List Building?”
In a nutshell “It is the process of gathering information from online visitors by encouraging them to subscribe to your email list”
To get them to subscribe you need to give them something free – say like a Report or a Weekly/Monthly Newsletter regarding your particular niche, eBook or something else. I am sure you could come up with a list of “Goodies” if you thought long and hard. You do need to include an opt-in form where they can add their Names and email address.
In list building, your main goal is NOT to sell but to gather potential customers/clients and build rapport with them.
The biggest mistake any beginners can make is to put on the “Hard Sell” and not that build rapport, which in turn creates a trust factor.
